Cydonia is an all analog, all germanium, harmonic generator and booster. Featuring 13db of boost, from sparkly clean to a range of harmonic expansion. The harmonic distortion from Cydonia is even-order dominant, and has a smooth pleasing quality. While this device has a very open and natural response, there is some gentle added compression with higher gain settings.
As a harmonic sweetener, Cydonia adds a refined richness without adding an unnatural layer to your sound. Inspired by germanium pedals of the past, Cydonia is built with many rare vintage parts, including AC128 germanium transistors, germanium diodes, NOS capacitors and more. Each pedal is hand soldered and hand wired using cloth wire. The unique circuit is like a lost vintage artifact from an alternate universe.
